October 7th Day Collection Box Office Report Total Business Income : Banita Sandhu’s latest Hindi movie ‘October’ has neither shown any growth in its performance at box office nor witnessed a sharp decline in the theatre occupancy. Continuing the box office journey with a steady pace, the Hindi offering has collected a total amount of Rs 27.99 crore on Indian box office. It is expected to earn an amount of Rs 2 crore on 7th day of release.
Featuring Gitanjali Rao and Varun Dhawan in the prominent roles, the Bollywood movie opened to an average occupancy in cinema halls and failed to meet the filmmakers’ expectations of grossing a double digit income on opening day. On first day, the Hindi language film recorded a business of Rs 5.04 crore. Box office collection earned by the film on 2nd day surprised the filmmakers. The romantic celluloid pocketed Rs 7.47 crore income on day 2.
After making a total collection of Rs 12.52 crore in two days, the Hindi movie continued to receive steady public response on 3rd day and garnered Rs 7.74 crore income at the box office. Though the celluloid failed to earn double digit income on each day in first weekend, it managed to earn it in three days. In 1st weekend, the Hindi film’s total box office collection was reported to be Rs 20.26 crore in India.
The film’s performance gradually dropped on week days. Failing to maintain consistency in the performance, the Bollywood movie reported 30% drop in the occupancy on Monday and registered a business of Rs 2.70 crore. The Hindi offering stood steady with its box office performance on following day and minted Rs 2.61 crore income on 5th day of release. On 6th day, the romantic Bollywood celluloid pocketed an income of Rs 2.43 crore in India. Latest box office numbers are awaited.
